DESCRIPTION:
Length: 8.5 to 12 inches
Wingspan: 20 to 24 inches
Weight: 3.4 to 5.3 oz
The Adult and the Immature are very similar.
Immature: The immature male has a brest that is more heavily streaked with black, and the immature male's back is completely barred. The immature female has a dark subterminal tail band only as wide as or slightly wider than other dark bands.
